A little old-fashioned.

The bed was spacious, and the room was reasonably large. The views of the ocean and Morro Rock were decent. The location was great and stunning as it was walking distance to pubs and eateries. Had supper enjoying drinks at nearby Dutchman's Seafood House.

fantastic proximity to waterfront dining and parks
During my recent stay, I appreciated how the room was comfortable and the owners were friendly, making it feel like a home away from home, while the location put me just a few steps from the lively waterfront and local eateries, perfect for my weekend strolls.

Traveling with children.
-Walking distance to attractions. -Sound of sea life nearby. -Room was fairly attractive.
1. Noisy. Walls: Could easily hear guest couple making love and talking. Very annoying while traveling with children 2. Noisy car wash directly across the street. Not pleasant with open windows. 3. Limited breakfast: Sunny Delight (tasted like tang), plastic package Danish rolls and some blueberry cake slices. Unforgettable! 4. Had to request spoons. Management was summoned came out and held out a box for me to pull three spoons from. Almost comical. A first time for everything I suppose. 5. $533.52 grand total for 2 nights: Friday and Sat in late July.

The location is ideal, 5 minutes walk from the city centre and restaurants.
Carpet stains and musty odours

What we liked best was its location. It's situated near stores, restaurants, town's main atractions in general and yes, walking distance to the beach.
For the price it lacks the following: Microwave, blowdryer, ironing board, average size refrigerator (it was barely working), alarm clock, decent breakfast.

Solo traveler experience worth it
The staff was friendly and efficient. I had a great interaction with the front desk man who made my check-in smooth and painless.
It wasn't exactly inexpensive but still reasonable for what I got.
